Guidelines for Conducting a Health Impact Assessment for Local Alcohol Planning. (AL638)
Health Impact Assessment is a tool that can be used to assist local alcohol planning. HIA can be used in many different policy settings, including the development of alcohol strategies and liquor control bylaws. It may also be used to address a specific alcohol-related issue such as outlet density or trading hours of licensed premises.

Many of us are concerned that at some stage we, and our teens, will come face to face with the issue of alcohol and teenage drinking.
This resource from HPA provides parents and care givers with helpful advice, and includes tips about delaying drinking, being a role model, building and maintaing a good relationship and what to do when things go wrong.
