Watch videos of experts presenting at a seminar run by Te Hiringa Hauora/Health Promotion Agency on 'Changing our thinking about youth drinking' at the New Zealand School Trustees Association (NZSTA) conference in Wellington in July 2016.

Ben Birks Ang (National Youth Services Advisor for Odyssey House and the Drug Foundation) talks about the role schools play in creating protective environments for students that help prevent and reduce alcohol harm.

Dr Sue Bagshaw (Director, The Collaborative Trust for Research and Training in Youth Health and Development, and Senior Lecturer, University of Otago, Christchurch) talks about the effects of alcohol on the developing brain and why not drinking is the safest option for under 18-year olds.

Ben and Sue answer conference participants' questions.
